Gr.-granddaughter of Moses Porter and Sarah (Kilham) Park, 1742-1843), his wife, m. 1765. Moses Porter, 1738-1803), turned out as sergeant at the Lexington Alarm. He was at Bennington, Bemis Heights and [p.42] Saratoga. He was born in Mansfield, Conn.; died in Pawlet, Vt., and major is inscribed on his tomb.
