Joel Richard Hiscock (1824-88) m. 1849 Mercy Ann Sweat (b. 1829). 2. Joel Hiscock (1782-1854) m. 1808 Annie Spring (1787-1873). 3. Richard Hiscock m. 1780 Sarah Cody (1763-1844). Richard Hiscock (1758-1840) enlisted, 1775, as private in Capt. James Mellen's company, Col. Jonathan Ward's regiment, Massachusetts troops. He served other enlistments until 1781. His widow received a pension. He was born in Hopkinton, Mass.; died in Pompey, N. Y.
