↑Source:Parlin, Frank Edson. Parlin Genealogy, the Descendants of Nicolas Parlin of Cambridge, Mass, p. 20, shows the Mary who married Walter Powers as the daughter of John Hartwell and Mary Parlin. Hence it assigns a birth 31 Dec 1720, which belongs to John's daughter. However, the probate of William Hartwell clearly shows the Mary who married Walter Powers was William's daughter, meaning this is wrong.
