MARY ZORN TAKEN BY DEATH Gibsonburg, July 11 - Mrs. Mary Lenora Zorn, 73, prominent Gibsonburg resi dent died at her home on east Madison street at 4 p.m. Thursday, followi ng an extended illness. The deceased suffered a paralytic stroke about two years ago and was stric ken again this week. She was born in Pennsylvania, January 5, 1868, a dau ghter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ferrenberg, late residents of Gibsonburg. Mrs. Zorn was an active member of the Methodist church until her illnes s. She and her husband, William Ed. Zorn, observed their 50th wedding ann iversary in May, 1940. Mr. Zorn is associated with the Zorn-Hornung Compa ny, holders of extensive business interests in Gibsonburg, farmlands and o il wells. The body will be returned late Friday to the family residence by the Veh a nd Son funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturd ay at the residence, with Rev. Michael Yeagle, pastor of the Methodist chu rch, officiating. Interment will be in Gibsonburg cemetery, north. Surviving are the husband, three children; Mrs. F. B. Vedder, of Ann Arbo r, Mich.; Mrs. T. R. Myers, Elyria, and Ray Zorn, Oak Harbor businessma n, and one sister, Miss Olive Ferrenberg, who has resided for a numb er of years at the Zorn home. Miss Ferrenberg at present is seriously ill . |
