In the Name of God Amen - I Mary Boggan considering the uncertainty of life and being desirous to make a disposition of my property to such of my children who I believe to stand most in need of assistance do on this 23rd June 1826 make and publish my last Will and Testament as follows: I give and bequeath to my son Richard Boggan for life my tract of land on Gould's Fork, containing about one hundred acres.

I give and bequeath to Joseph Pickett in trust for my daughter Eleanor Hammond and to her heirs, the remainder of the estate in said Tract of land willed to Richard Boggan, and I do further will and bequeath to the said Joseph Pickett in trust for the said Eleanor Hammond all the rest of my property to be held by him for separate use benefit and support of the said Eleanor Hammond during her coverture (protection and authority of her husband) with William Hammond, her husband, so as not to be liable to the debts, contracts, encumbrances or contract of the said William Hammond but for the said Eleanor to have the sole and separate use and benefit thereof, and in the case the said William Hammond should survive the said Eleanor Hammond then the said property to go to the children of the said Eleanor and then lawful issue, who shall be living at the death of the said Eleanor and in case the said Eleanor shall survive the said William, then the said property to remain to the entire right and disposal of the said Eleanor Hammond and her heirs-- I do hereby nominate and appoint Joseph Pickett Executor of this my last Will and Testament--
