Facts and Events
Name[1] Mary Coons
Gender Female
Marriage Abt 1815 to John Van Camp

Both Else[1] and Freundlich[2] agree that John' first wife was a Coons and a sister of his second wife, Abigail Coons. Only Else gives her name as "Mary"; Freundlich has the first wife's given name as unknown. If the name "Mary" is correct, it's conceivable that the 1815 land petition by Mary Coone of Matilda was hers.[3] It should name her father, and may name her husband (if any) even though no husband is indicated by the index entry.
