MRS MARY LEE COBLE SHOFFNER

Final rites for Mrs Mary Lee Coble Shoffner, 83, of Route 1, Burlington, were held yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at St Pauls Lutheran Church. Mrs Shoffner died Monday.

Rev Pat Cloninger, pastor of the church, conducted the service, assisted by Rev Paul G Kinney, a former pastor.

Music was by the church choir, with Mrs Bobby O'Neal as pianist. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Duncan Wells, Jack McPherson, Baxter Thomas, Max Crouse, Whitney Isley and Glenn Shoffner.

Mrs. Fannie Overman and Mrs Mary Wells were in charge of floral arrangements assisted by Mesdames Mattie Greeson, Allene Fox, Sarah Talton, Eula Fogleman, Max Crouse, Mary Isley, Flora Moser, Johnnie May, Rufus Dales and Misses Linda Ruth McPherson, Chloe Dean McPherson, Sharon Thomas, Ann Thomas, Bonnie Jo Coble, Jolene Guthrie, Willie Jane Thornton, Janice Overman, Louise Greeson, Lucy Hines, Sally Combs, Brenda Combs, Brenda Coble, and Donna Ray Dunn.
