Obituary.

Mrs. Mary Clark Coup of S. Rdgewood Rd., died Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. in the haven of Rest Nursing Home in Marion following a long illness. Mrs. Coup was a graduate of Western College for Women in Oxford, where she was the first student government president. She was a Latin teacher at the Mount Vernon High School and had been active in the College Women's and Beethoven Clubs. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James Garrus of Oxon Hill, Md., and Miss Rebecca K. Coup of the home; one step-daughter, Miss Frances B. Coup of Marion; two grandchildren and two step grandchildren. Friends may call at the Grohe Funeral Home this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Robert New officiating. Burial will be in Mound View Cemetery.
