July 4, 1724, aged 67, at either Saybrook, Conn., or Southold, N. Y., and was buried in Old Burying Ground in Southold village, where a stone marks her grave thus inscribed, viz.: 'Here Lyeth the Body of Mrs. Mary Lynde, wife of Nathll Lynde, Esqr. who was her 3rd husband, and her first was Mr. Peter Bradley, her 2nd was Lt. Coll. Thomas Youngs; she died the 4th of July 1724, aged 67 years;'
