July 4, 1724, aged 67, at either Saybrook, Conn., or Southold, N. Y., and was buried in Old Burying Ground in Southold village, where a stone marks her grave thus inscribed, viz.: 'Here Lyeth the Body of Mrs. Mary Lynde, wife of Nath^ll Lynde, Esq^r. who was her 3rd husband, and her first was Mr. Peter Bradley, her 2nd was Lt. Coll. Thomas Youngs; she died the 4th of July 1724, aged 67 years;'
