1871 - With step father and mother living at No 7 The Hall Cottages, West Wretham. Single, aged 27.

1881 - Living at 4 Harriet Place, Edward Road, East Barnet (Holy Trinity) with husband, three children, two scholars boarding Joseph MOORE (7, born London) and Robert MOORE (5, born Adelaide, Australia) and an adult lodger (George SAMPHIRE, 30, Gosport, Hampshire). Aged 37, born at North Lopham, Norfolk.

1891 - Living in four rooms at 40 Longhedge Street, Battersea (St Saviour) with husband and two daughters. Aged 46.

1900 - Death registered as Mary SLAYMAKER. Memorial inscription (North Lopham): In loving memory of Mary the beloved wife of Matthew SLAYMAKER of Carlton Grove, Battersea Park, London who died at North Lopham August 15th 1900 aged 55 years. Gone from us but not forgotten. Never shall the memory fade. Sweetest thoughts shall ever linger. Round the spot where she is laid. Further inscription to her youngest daughter Sarah Jane, not buried here but in Morden, Surrey.
