Genesee Co NY deed, 25 Feb 1824. The clipping from the NY newspaper gives her marriage record and the clipping from the LaHarper gives lists her as John Jr's mother. The second clipping lists her parents, her father’s will mentions three of her daughters, and Ramona has found English records verifying the article's data. William Barron deeded land in Caledonia Twp. to John Armstrong on 25 Feb 1824. Recent evidence places her in Clayton Co IA in 1870 and gives her death as 1879. I have been unable to locate her in 1860. She was not listed as Mary Armstrong in IL or IA or as M Armstrong in IL.
