1. Died after surgery for tumor. 2. Came to Imperial fall, 1903. 3. DOB estimated from the 1880 Census for Traill Co., ND. Her obituary in 1922 gives her age as 51, placing her birth in 1871. A DOB of 20 November 1870 is given by Aggie Anderson. Perhaps 20 November is the birthday. 1920 Census gives birth year abt 1871. 4. Deaconess of Imperial Community Church, member WCTU. Active in community service; see FNB letters for notes on foster care of Japanese baby whose mother was sick. 5. SIN 40 gives bp. Quincy, Traill, ND for all Anderson children. Quincy discontinued in 1896. It was at the junction of the Elm and Red Rivers. It was named for Quincy IL! It is more likely that she was born in Ontario, Canada, because her parents did not come to North Dakota until she was about 5 years old. 6. "The death of Mrs. R.G. Banta was mourned by the whole town in May." The First Thirty Years 1901-1931 (History of the Imperial Valley), Otis B. Tout, 1931; p 267. (FHC San Diego) 7. 1880 census gives bp Canada., DOB 1872. Twp 144, Traill Co., Dakota Terr., p. 238C 8. On 1920 Census she says she was naturalized in 1898.
