  3. The Warwick birth record of youngest daughter Harriet says her mother Lydia is Martin's third wife. His first wife d. March 1797. It is not clear who his second wife was?
A marriage in Warwick to Polly Gale in late 1797 would seem likely, but the intention says this marriage was Martin Jr. However, no children are found. A death record of Abram Stevens says his parents are Martin Stevens and Melinda Gale. His birth in Nov 1810(calculated from age at death) would seem to indicate that he could not be the son of Martin Sr. who married his third wife Lydia Jan 1811. Is this Melinda Gale the same as the Polly Gale mentioned above? Did father and son marry relatives?
Is the Martin Stevens who married 8 Dec 1808 Susanna Webb either father or son, or an unrelated individual?
The gaps between children born 1785, and the next in 1797, and then the next in 1714, suggests there is data missing.
