    M. Hatfield, Dugger, Died Sunday, Dec. 20 -- Was Brother of Late Deceased Jeremiah Hatfield, and Was Born Near Owensburg.
         Martin Hatfield, aged about seventy years, died December 20, at his home in Dugger, following a short illness.
         He was born and raised in Greene County near Owensburg, and was a brother of the late deceased Jeremiah Hatfield, of this place.
         He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Missouri (Borders) Hatfield; four sons, Glen, of Pennsylvania; William, of Toledo, Ohio; Ora and Ernest, at home, and five daughters, Mrs. Abigail Kitchell, of Vincennes; Mrs. Serena Ham, of Freedom; Mrs. Laura Eagleton, of Robinson, Illinois; Mrs. Eloise Ridge, of Dugger; and Miss Agnes, at home. Four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Martha Jackson, of Owensburg, and a host of friends.
         Funeral services were conducted at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Dugger Church of Christ, in charge of Rev. J. R. Clark. Interment in the Dugger Cemetery.
         Those attending from Owensburg were Mrs. Martha Jackson (a sister), Mr. and Mrs. William Hudson, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred [Alonzo?] Jackson; also Mr. and Mrs. Noah Hatfield of Bedford.
