    BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Martha Louise Cowan, 85, a former resident of Daytona Beach for 35 years, died May 6 at the Salem Health and Rehabilitation Center, Salem, Va.

    Mrs. Cowan, a homemaker, was born in Rome, Ga., and was a member of the Flomich Avenue Baptist Church, Holly Hill.

    Survivors include two sons, Glenn R., Blacksburg, and Garland, Tallahassee; a daughter, Billie Wolfe, Naperville, Ill.; two sisters, Pauline Gordon, Dayton, Ohio, and Bertha Mae Myers, New Jersey; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Flomich Avenue Baptist Church, Flomich Avenue, Holly Hill 32117. Baggett & Summers, Daytona Beach, is in charge.
