7 Feb 1736/7: Request of Martha Nurss to have Nath'll Stow as guardian. 28 Feb 1736: Bond of Nathaniel Stow Blacksmith of Reading as guardian unto Martha Nurse (at her Election) a Minor about fifteen years of age, Daughter of Francis Nurse late of Reading.
Will of step-father, Edward Putnam of Middleton, dated 2 Oct 1754, includes a bequest to "my Daughter Martha Nurs" a bed "which was my wife Martha's", as well as bequests to the daughter's siblings.
↑ Note, however, that in judge's decree setting father's real estate in 1743 to Jonathan and Timothy, no payment is specified to sister Martha, only sister Sarah.
