    Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Murdock, 85, of Henrietta, were conducted at 10 am Saturday, Dec. 5, at Davis Funeral home Chapel, Henrietta.

    Rev. Glenn Bridges of the Henrietta First Baptist Church and Rev. Ted Traylor, pastor, officiated. Burial was at Bluegrove Cemetery.

    Mrs. Murdock died Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Clay County Memorial Hospital, Henrietta. Born Oct. 1, 1902, at White Bead in what is now Oklahoma, she was a 12 year resident of Henrietta. She was a Baptist.

    Survivors include two sones, Loran Murdock of Arlington and Wayne Murdock of Nacogdoches; a daughter, Mrs. Sybil Fuller of Buffalo Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Patterson and Mrs. Ruth Oman, both of Henrietta, and Mrs. Nell Haigood of Bowie; a brother, Leonard Langford of Lillian; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
