Martha J. Schultz

Martha J. Schultz, 62, of Tiffin, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, at Voluntee rs of America Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.

Mrs. Schultz was born June 15, 1942, in Tiffin OH, to the late Dwig ht L. and Freida Evelyn (Martig) Gorsuch. On June 4, 1961, she married Richard D. Schultz. He preceded her in dea th on April 7, 1944. They were the first couple married at First Luther an Church, Melmore Street.

Surviving are two daughters, Jean Schultz and Mary Palmer, both of Tiffi n OH; a brother, Paul F. Gorsuch of Sterling Heights, Mich.; a sister, Ru th Ann Gorsuch of Tiffin; two grandchildren, Jessica L. (Jacob L.) Tuck er and Erin M. Palmer, all of Tiffin; two great-grandchildren, Brayd en L. and Kaitlyn Marie Tucker of Tiffin.

Mrs. Schultz was a member of First Lutheran Church and graduated from Tiff in Columbian High School in 1961. She enjoyed babysitting, bowling and wat ching sports, especially the Indians and Browns.

A Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at First Luther an Church with the Rev. Robert Thacker officiating. Burial will foll ow in Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15, in the Dietz Room at First L utheran Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care; Toledo Athle tic Boosters or the Chapel fund at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care C enter.
