    Good possibility for her parents are:

    James & Eliza Esrey, who were farmers in 4th precinct, 24th ward of Philadelphia, PA in 1860. Living with them is Reese Esrey, of the right age to be the Reese Esrey living with William & Martha Lewin in 1880. But I could not find them in the 1850 census.

    If this is Martha's parents, James was born abt 1805 in Pennsylvania. Eliza his wife was born abt. 1806 in Penn. They had (per the 1860 census): Reese, b. abt. 1832, farmhand, b. PA Eliza, b. abt. 1845 PA [note the gap; perhaps her mother is a second wife?]* Anna, b. abt. 1848 PA James, b. abt. 1850 PA*
