Allen Family and Descendants of Latimerstown, Wexford, Ireland [1663-1900 ] -
    Notes for Martha "Patsy" BOND:
Patsy was previously married to Jacob Dickinson by whom she had four children: Andrew Jackson, Jacob T., Julia Ann and Araminta. In 1834, her daughter, Julia Ann married R.T.P. Allen, her husband Eben Allen's nephew. Then in 1837, her son Jacob T. Dickinson, married Martha M. Allen. However, I am uncertain about Martha's place in the Allen family. Patsy's remaining daughter by Jacob Dickinson, Araminta, married John Nourse.

According to her will which was dated July 24, 1850, Patsy also had two other daughters, but their fathers are unknown: Sophia C. (Mrs. Joel Johnson) and Manverva M. (Mrs. Green).

Patsy's property consisted chiefly of slaves which she left to her children and grandchildren. She was living in Franklin Co., Kentucky when she signed her will which follows:
