Martha Andrews
A Celebration of Life for Martha Andrews, 58, of Cleveland, begins at 11 a.m. Saturday. Family and friends will gather with the proceedings to begin at 11:30 a.m. at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Ms. Andrews died Jan. 15, 2007, at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
Born Dec. 19, 1948, in Painesville, she lived in Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights, Mentor and Ashtabula before moving to Cleveland 10 years ago.
She graduated from Mentor High School Class of 1966, and also graduated from Cuyahoga Community College where she received her P.A. degree. Ms. Andrews loved to ride motorcycles and was a motorcycle instructor for the State of Ohio and Harley Davidson with Riders Edge Motorcycle Academy. She loved gardening and animals, especially dogs, cats and horses, as well as spending time with her grandchild.
Ms. Andrews was a Physicians Assistant (P.A.) at University Hospitals for 15 years. She also worked at Richmond Heights Hospital, LakeWest Hospital in Willoughby, Med Net in Mentor and Elyria Memorial Hospital.
Survivors are her daughters, Karen (fiance, Jason Wichert) Martin of Cleveland and Katherine Martin of Orwell; grandson, Christian Ellis Henry; life partner, Joe Moore of Cleveland; stepchildren, Sarah Ross Moore and Joshua Ross Moore; mother, Marjorie Andrews (husband, Donald Cole) of Elyria; sister, Susan Cole (husband, Hal Taussig) of Philadelphia; brother, Dean Andrews of Tallahassee, Fla.; stepbrother, Cris (Carol) Cole of Long Beach, Calif.; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; cousins; and numerous friends.
Martha was preceded in death by her father, C. Garry Andrews.
The family suggests contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 69 Pearl St., Painesville, OH 44077, or to Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250 Dallas, TX 75244, or to National Public Radio, c/o WCPN, 1375 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44115.

A Celebration of Life for Martha Andrews, 58, of Cleveland, begins at 11 a.m. Saturday. Family and friends will gather with the proceedings to begin at 11:30 a.m. at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Ms. Andrews died Jan. 15, 2007, at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
Born Dec. 19, 1948, in Painesville, she lived in Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights, Mentor and Ashtabula before moving to Cleveland 10 years ago.
She graduated from Mentor High School Class of 1966, and also graduated from Cuyahoga Community College where she received her P.A. degree.
