    Retired Minister Dies

    The Rev. M.L. Davis, 81, retired Baptist minister who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E.L. Nelson, near Floresville, was buried in Waco, his former home, on Friday. A native of Cherokee County, Georgia, he had served as a Baptist missionary preacher in Louisiana and Texas for many years before retiring. Surviving are three sisters and the following children: Mrs. E.L. Nelson of Floresville, Mrs. Joy Arnold of Cuero, Mrs. C.D. Bohannon of San Antonio, Mrs. J.W. Roach of Alice and U.H. Davis of San Antonio.
