    1) Maude Jubb widow and Marmaduke Mauncell esq. her brother

    2) Wylliam Vowell gent., Elizabeth his wife, John Mauncell son of Marmaduke, and Katryn his wife, d'ter of William

    Their term in manor of Langaschton called Meryettes and the farm of the parsonage of Langaschton, the grantees promising to keep harmless the grantors against the Prior and Convent of Bath, the parson of Bedminster and the King for all rents and charges due and to keep harmless the said Maude for covenants to be observed on her behalf by indentures of 20 March 6 Henry VIII (AC/D/1/120) and to keep one obit according to indentures of 22 July 9 Henry VIII (AC/D/1/121). It is agreeed that Maude during her life shall take all profits of the premises bearing all charges specified in the said indentures, also that after the death of John and Katryn the issue of their two bodies shall enjoy the term one child after another as they shall be in age the male to enjoy before the female and failing such issue Annys Mauncell d'ter of Marmaduke shall enjoy the term if in life or else to remain to executors of William. For which grant William binds himself for the payment of £40 to Maude towards the marriage of Joan d'ter of Marmaduke.
