(PRCh). Mark Dimsey was 1st Seergt, in Capt. Bernardus Swartwout's Company of Militia in Coll. John Freer's Regiment 6 June 1778. He was taxed Poughkeepsie Precinct from 1775 through 1778 and was there in 1790 at 1-2-5 and was between Hendrick Hermanse and Aaron Romar. There are no local records for deaths or burials for this family,

Appears in 1790 census as male, over 16. Appears in 1810 census. Died between 1810 and 1840.
