Marjory Snip of Rolling Meadows Visitation for Marjory Snip, 90, will take place on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine, from 3 until 8 p.m. The funeral service will take place the following morning, Friday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Cary. Marjory was born in Grand Rapids, MI, and passed away on Oct. 26, 2012. She was a member of the Quilting Club at the Rolling Meadows Senior Center and also the Needlework Group at Fairfax Village. Over many years she enjoyed family trips to Door County, WI, and visiting with neighbors and friends. Marjory was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd J. Snip. She was the loving mother of Joanne (Dan) Strong of Hoffman Estates, Judi (George) Spanske of Prospect Heights and Jacki (Tim) Doyle of Elmhurst; adored grandmother of Christine (Ian) Kaminski, Leslie Strong, Lauren (Tim) Balgemann, Matt Strong, Colleen (Mark) Eakley, Amy (Justin) Kanera and Sharon (Arthur) Wagoner; and great-grandmother of Caroline Kaminski.
