    He married next in Dedham 5 June 1581, MARION (_____) (SMYTHE ) WILSON , widow of Thomas Smythe of Dedham, then of Edmund Wilson of St. Leonard’s, Colchester, whom she had married in Dedham 5 April 1563. She was perhaps “Mrs Sherman” buried at St. James, Colchester, 4 August 1584.
