According to Aunt Myrtle, Marion was employed as a maid until her marriage to Uncle Dave. Her most memorable position was working for Mr. Livingstone(the great nephew to the explorer.) Aunt Myrtle reports that "in those days a maid had to be dressed properly.... in black with a starched white apron and hat." When Marion resigned, the position was filled by Myrtle.
