Marie Eunah Benoit was the daughter of Michel Benoit and his first wife Marie Cleonise Babineaux. She was married to Francois "Frank" LeDoux.

Mrs. Mary Eumah Ledoux Rites are Today. Monday, 4 May 1942

Last rites for Mrs. Mary Eumah Ledoux, 85, who died at her home near Black Bayou Friday morning, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at the Catholic church, Father G. A. Bodin officiating. Burial will be at the Sallier cemetery with the Hixson funeral directors in charge.

Pallbearers are Garland Dedoux, Floyd Granger, Harvey Granger, Rhudell Granger, Hugh LeDoux and Frank Ledoux.

Survivors are four sons, J. M., J. D., and Ambroise Ledoux all of Lake Charles; Albert LeDoux of Sulphur; two daughters, Mrs. Ophelia Granger and Mrs. Hattie Benoit, both of Lake Charles; seven brothers, Judson, Eustilian, Murphy, Romey, Preston and Willie Benoit, all of Vinton, and Ramie Benoit of Westlake; four sisters, Mrs. Edgar Perry, Mrs. James Parrish and Miss Mae Benoit, all of Vinton, and Mrs. Ira Haddock of Jennings; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
