Need to be Researched

These are the children of Michel Benoit and Marie Cleonise Babineaux who are listed in various places, yet cannot be verified.

  • Mary Felice Benoit (b. 17 Feb 1855) - no documentation.
  • Euinuseide Benoit - b. 1858 - A 12-year-old female by this name is shown in the 1870 Census as living in the household of Michel and Cleonise Benoit. NOTE: It is really hard to read the handwriting for this name. It could be Eamunide. This girl is not shown in the 1880 census, however, in 1880 she would have been 22 and probably married.
  • Antoin Benoit (b. 1861) - no documentation has been found to prove that this person existed.
  • Edgar Benoit (b. 1864) - Edgar appears in the 1870 Census as Michel's six-year-old son, and again in the 1880 Census as Michel's 16-year old son.
  • Letitia Benoit (b. 1868) - A two-year old Letitia appears in the 1870 Census in the household of Michel and Cleonise Benoit. She does not appear in the 1880 Census. She would have been around 12 years of age in 1880, so she would have been of the age to still be living at home. Did she die before the 1880 census?
