• There is a baptism record in 7 Oct 1852 for a female named Josephine ---, b. 30 ??? 1849 No parents are given. Josephina Aid is listed as her sponsor. In the column for legitimacy there is a note which is very difficult to read, but seems to indicate that the father was an American, non-Catholic. Needs further investigation. This Josephina Ayd would have only been 8 years old at the time of this girl's 1849 birth and 11 years old at the time of her baptism. It doesn't seem likely that she is the mother. UPDATE: I believe this is Josephine (Krug) AYD, wife of John AYD (Reinhard's half-brother, I think). Don B.
