Family story: After the death of her two daughters and birth of two sons, Margurite Stewart longed for, and even expected, her next child to be a girl. She picked out a name - Roberta Jeanette. When twin boys arrived instead, she named the first-born Robert Jean and the second-born Richard Byrd, for the Antarctic Explorer, who was much in the news the year Robert and Richard were born.
