Margarette R. Smith

Margarette R. Smith, 68, of 1320 W. Seneca Avenue, Tiffin, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.

Born Jan. 21, 1937, in Toledo to the late Ralph O. and Mayme K. (Bartlette) Bordner Sr., she married Lloyd E. Smith Sr. on Dec. 22, 1956, in Tiffin. Survivors include her husband Lloyd E. Smith Sr. Children: Rose (Bill) Lewis of Wayne, OH, Lucy Moon and (George Hartson) of Tiffin, Lloyd (Tina) Smith Jr. of Fostoria, Cleo Smith of Tiffin, Patricia (Gene) Harmon of Fostoria, Rex Smith and (Kim Parks) of Tiffin, Allen Smith and (Theresea Teill) of Tiffin; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brothers, James Bordner of Tiffin and Robert Bordner Sr. of Fostoria; step-brother, Rick Lawrence of Tiffin; and a sister, Phillis Roming of Tiffin.

She was predeceased by five brothers, Ralph Bordner, Thomas Bordner, Victor Bordner, Leonard Bordner and Wayne Homler, and a sister, Darlene Shumaker.

She was a homemaker and member of First Lutheran Church.

The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2005, in Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Tiffin. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
