'Margaret, his [Charles Kilborn's] wife, died Aug. 21, 1841, aged 73.'
The date does not agree with the parish register - it is possible it was taken from a worn gravestone. The parish register (which was microfilmed in the 1940s) is quite legible.
'Margaret Kilborne, widow of Charles Kilborne, Farmer, of the township of Stanstead died on the twenty-third day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-one, and was buried on the twenty-fifth day of the same month, and year, in the presence of the subscribing witnesses. By me, Henry Lawton, Wesleyan Missionary'
