    "29. Margaret Rix3 (James2, Thomas1), born probably in Wenham, Mass., about 1700 [1690]; died Aug. 1, 1727: married, Jan. 27, 1714, Jedediah Tracy, born in Preston, Conn., Sept. 24, 1692; married, second, Apr. 15, 1728, Mary Safford, daughter of John Safford, and widow of Ezekiel Parke. He resided in Preston and was deacon in his church for over fifty years. He was magistrate, and represented his town in the legislature. He died Jan. 16, 1766 [June 8, 1779; it was this couple's son Jedediah who died in 1766], being thrown from his horse as he was riding to mill. He left 137 direct descendants."
