    MRS. MARGARET ELLEN PRINE
    Mrs. Margaret Ellen Prine, daughter of William and Amanda Rich, was born near Milton, Wayne county, Indiana, August 7th, 1856 ; departed this life October 21, 1911, aged 55 years, 2 months and 14 days. She was the third in a family of six children. One sister and two brothers survive her, Mrs. Permelia Blount, Oliver E. Rich and Charles Rich ; one brother James H., and one sister Nancy A., have preceded their sister to rest. In September, 1868, William Rich and family moved to the present home of the deceased, where he lived until his death, August 6th, 1882. The deceased was married to William Prine, September 16, 1890. Since her marriage she has always lived at the old home farm in Washington township. Her's was a happy home. She was a patient and loving wife, a companion ever ready to give herself to any cause which helped to make the home ideal. A woman's ideal cannot be higher than the one toward which she has striven. She united with the Christian church at Raleigh [Rush county], October 20th, 1870, and has since been a faithful member and attendant. Her church duties were her pleasure, and her faith was ever displayed in everyday life. She has left a record with her friends and neighbors which speaks more than will any comment at this time. Those who knew her best, appreciated her most. In this hour of sadness, while we mourn our loss and sympathize deeply with the sister and brothers, and especially with the lonely husband -
    We can but point toward Christ - Whose love doth lead and keep;
    Whose comforts never fail - To calm us ere we sleep.
    Oh may that peaceful Heaven - Of ones so pure and blest,
    Find us at last within its fold - When we have passed to rest.
