Obituary

MRS. KIDDER RITES FRIDAY

  East Jordan - Funeral services for Mrs. Archie Kidder, 83, who died Tuesday at Little Traverse Hospital in Petoskey, will be held at the Watson Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday.  The Rev. Lester Priest will officiate.  Burial will be on Moorhouse cemetery in Echo township, Antrim county.
   Born in Echo township Mar. 2, 1888, the former Maggie Mae Murphy was married to Mr. Kidder on July 24, 1907, and always resided in Echo township.
   She is survived by her husband; a son, Clarence, of East Jordan; one daughter Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Johnstone of Ellsworth; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Herbert Sweet of East Jordan, Mrs. Amos Towsley of Charlevoix, Mrs. Max Saddler of Alanson and Mrs. Ed Spence of Richtown, Canada, and two brothers, Irvin Murphy and Raymond Murphy, both of East Jordan.
