There is no indication that (that I have found) that Samuel P. Vaughn and Margaret McClure had any children.

After Samuel P. Vaughn's death in Dec 1849, I believe it's quite possible Margaret remarried to Josiah Harvy McCray:

McCray, Josiah H. and Margaret Vaughn, March 24, 1853, in Jackson Co., OH, by William Evans, J.P. They applied for license on March 23rd 1853 (#2568), one day after the marriage license was issued on March 22nd 1853 (#2567) for James McClure and Jane Gallaghan, who were married 7 April 1853. Both marriages were performed by William Evans, J.P. in Jackson Co. - these 2 entries follow each other in the Jackson County marriage record book.

The 1850 Census for Bloomfield Twp., Jackson Co., Ohio, lists James McClure as a son of Arthur and Jane McClure (natives of Virginia), and a sister named Margaret, age 19, is listed in this family. I believe this is Margaret McClure Vaughn, widow of Samuel P. Vaughn.

Josiah Harvey McCray died in Ridge Twp., Van Wert Co., Ohio, on 16 Oct 1895. His wife, Margaret McCray died 07 Apr 1908 in Ridge Twp., Van Wert County, aged 78, which calculates to a birth year of 1830. The 1900 Census lists her birth date as Feb 1830.
