This birth is different from the news article regarding Sheldon Frederick Jones published in Little Falls, NY but seems to fit better. Her father John was here in German Flats, Herkimer, NY just after her birth, obviously traveling from Albany and further east. Evelyn Newby has confirmed that this is the correct Margaret McChesney and birth date through vital records.
