Mrs. Margaret Lutes
The death occurred yesterday of Mrs. Margaret Lutes, widow of Alphonso Lutes, at her home in Berry Mills. Mrs. Lutes, who was 88 years of age, was one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of that place.
Twice married, her first husband was Horace Pennington, and from this marriage two daughters, Mrs. Seymour Lutes, of Steeves Mountain, and Miss Gertrude Pennington, of New York, survive. By her second marriage two sons and one daughter survive. They are Earle Lutes, of Oyster Bay. N.Y., and Lloyd Lutes, at home, and Mrs. John Irving, of Hudson, Ont.
The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon, with service at the house at 2 o,clock.
