Margaret Barron 85, died Friday evening at the home of a son, Sylvester J. Barron 3023 Dodge Avenue. She had been a resident here for 30 years. 

    Mrs. Barron was born November 8, 1856 at Wheeler, Ia. (other records show

her birth as 18 Nov. 1858, or 16 Nov 1859 Galesburg, Knox CO. ILL, death certificate states 18 Nov 1857 Galesburg) She was married to Mr. Barron February 28, 1876. They moved to Souix City in 1912. Mr. Barron died in 1926. 

    Mrs. Barron was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
    Surviving are two daughters; Mrs Anna Rich of Dean, Mont. and Mrs. Mary

Bruce of Souix City: three sons; John, Ignatius V., and Sylvester J., all of Souix City; three sisters, Mrs Anna Luttrell, Mrs. Ella Ward, and Mrs. Mary Shoveland(should be Shovlain/Shovelain) all of Melrose, Ia; one brother William Fitzgerald of Kansas City, 21 grandchildren and 14 (?)grandchildren {Possibly great-grandchildren?}
