    When Margaret Della (Crumrine) West was born in 1845 in Coxs Mills, West Virginia, her father, William, was 29, and her mother, Susanna, was 23. She had two daughters with Samuel Marion West between 1864 and 1866. She died as a young mother on October 18, 1875, in Ayr Village, Adams County, Nebraska, USA at the age of 28, and was buried there.

    She married Samuel M. West on July 7, 1864 in Gilmor County, West Virginia

    Margaret and Samuel Moved to Sullivan County, Missouri and are found there in the 1870 census. Later they went to Ayr Village, Adams County, Nebraska, USA area where Margaret died in 1875. Margaret swallowed a pin which lodged in her throat and she lived only a few days after that.
