Margaret Campbell was born 22feb1816 and chr 7apr1816 at Abbey, Paisley, daughter of John Campbell and Margaret Marquies or Maquir (Latter Day Saints). Margaret (b. 1816 Abbey, Paisley, d. 18dec1856, 100 Cambridge St., Glasgow, aged 38) (J. Mamantow) was daughter of John Campbell (b. abt 1795?) and Margaret Marquis/Marcus (b. abt 1795?) (B. Jones). John Campbell (ropemaker, b. abt 1775, Campbeltown, Argyllshire) married Margaret Marcus/Marquis (b. abt 1779, Campbeltown) (J. Mamantow).
