Mae L Weininger

Mae L Weininger, 104, formerly of CR 2, McCutchenville, died 6:10 a.m. Mon day, Nov. 11, 2002, at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.

She was born May 10, 1898, in Seneca CO to Joseph W and Matilda (Staib) Pa rks. She married Mr. Welsh W Weininger on Nov. 27, 1920. He died Jan. 5, 1 958.

Surviving are: a son, Mr. Warren Weininger of rural McCutchenville; a daug hter, Mrs. Phyllis Barth of rural Sycamore; 12 grandchildren, 30 great-gra ndchildren and 10 great, great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildr en and three step great, great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Mr. Joe Weining er in 1986; a daughter, Mrs. Matilda Matsick in 1989; a great-grandchil d; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Manges, Mrs. Evva King, Mrs. Fern Kingseed, a nd Mrs. Inez Baugher; two brothers, Mr. Lewis Parks and Mr. Charles Parks.

Mrs. Weininger was a homemaker and member of the Trinity United Chur ch of Christ in McCuthenville. She was the oldest living member: Columbi an High School Class of 1915; taught school in Bascom and South Bend Count ry School, rural McCutchenville. She taught the Kum-Join-Us Sunday Scho ol class for many years. Mrs. Weininger was on the church consistory and s he was the Regional Guild treasurer of U.C.C Conference; 85 year memb er of Wm Myers Chapter 196 OES and past Matron; former member of the Fa rm Bureau Council Faithful Twenty-four; member of Mohawk Sixty Plus Clu b. She sang in the Seneca CO Homemakers Chorus. She also volunteered at Fa irhaven Home.

Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002, at the Trinity U.C.C Ch urch, with the Rev. Roy Howell officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemet ery in Seneca CO.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at the Walton-Moo re Funeral Home in Sycamore and one hour prior to the service on Thursd ay at the church.
