She was born in Schroon Lake on Dec. 14, 1894, the daughter of Carl and Clara (Olden) Wright. She had been a school teacher in Severance and Corinth, and later obtained her nursing certificate in Glen Falls. She moved to Saranac Lake in 1920 where she worked at Will Rogers Hospital for 20 years as a practical nurse, retiring in 1952. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America, Court St. Bernard. Her husband died in 1959. Survivors include ........; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial was held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday July 24, at St. Bernard's Church.
