Born August 15, 1902 in Renville, Minnesota to Fred G. and Lena Knott, she was a Whatcom County resident most of her life, previously living in Stanwood, WA and Camano Island, WA. She enjoyed travel and gardening. Survived by two sisters Dorothy Perry of Bellingham and Laura Phelps of Ranier, OR; 2 nephews, Robert E. Perry and wife Gail of Bellingham, Don Perry and wife Virginia of Lynnwood; 1 niece, Sandy Whitehead of Bellingham; 4 step-sons, George and wife Shirley Astel of CA, Bill and wife Jean Astel of Seattle, Robert and wife Arliss Marshall of Sedro Woolley, WA, John and wife Mary Marshall of Tacoma, WA; numerous nieces and nephews.
