Pulaski Democrat, Nov 1973: THE WANDERER ... Lynn Phillips, the Jeep Dealer in Pulaski, was born in the house where he now lives, practically next door to what was the Hooper School...(located at the intersection of Tousley RD and Tinker Tavern RD in Albion Town, Oswego County)

Pulaski Democrat, 5 June 1974: LYNN PHILLIPS CLOSES SHOP AFTER 17 YEARS On Friday of last week, without fanfare or complaint, the Murphy-Phillips Motor Corporation of Pulaski closed up its shop. For over 17 years, the Jeep dealership and workshop had sold and serviced thousands of the Jeep vehicles to customers who came from a large area. A life-time resident of Tinker Tavern Rd., outside of Pulaski, Mr. Phillips was undoubtedly saddened as he reviewed the history of the establishment. The most recent franchise was started when Ken Murphy of Mexico and Lynn Phillips of Pulaski formed a partnership in February of 1957... A veteran in the automotive field, Mr. Phillips worked Frankiln's Motors in 1935 for 7 years and later at Gould's Bus Lines in Oswego. He worked another 7 years at the L. B. Price dealership, Pulaski which sold Hudsons, and then at Field's Dodge. Mr. Phillips stressed that he has enjoyed the business and the service he has offered. "Jeep is a good product," he remarked, "and I've enjoyed a good relationship with everybody. We've had a lot of good customers," Mr. Phillips added, "and we appreciate them"... Of his retirement plans, Mr. Phillips said that he planned to stay at home with his wife, Ella, and "maybe travel a little bit. I haven't missed one day in the past 17 years at the shop because of illness," he said. He thanks "the Lord" and his "good luck" for this remarkable record.

Pulaski Democrat, 25 May 1977: HOWARDVILLE NEWS Lynn Phillips underwent surgery at Upstate Medical Center on Friday and is reported to be progressing well.
