  3. Source:Bond, Henry. Family Memorials. Genealogies of the Families and Descendants of the Early Settlers of Watertown, Massachusetts, Including Waltham and Weston (1855), p. 28, and also p. 622, says that Lydia m. 12 Apr 1749 Daniel Benjamin (46). That's odd because on the division of her father's estate (undated, but not commissioned until 12 Jun 1749), she signed her name as Lydia Warren, i.e., unmarried still. Further, it seems odd because the marriage record says "Mrs. Lydia Warren" (which is often a false clue) and the father of Daniel (46), that is Daniel (20.44), lost his first wife 26 Sep 1748, and so, is very likely to be getting remarried sometime around 1749, say, to some widow named Lydia Warren? Well, and the will of the father, dated 1 May 1767 (Middlesex Probate 1563), does name his wife Lydia, so once again Bond is wrong. Instead, this Lydia may be the Lydia Warren of Waltham that m. 1753 John Robinson, but more research would be needed to show that.
