  2. ↑ Birth about 1773 is a guess. There is no birth record, no age at death. Source:Peabody, Selim Hobart. Peabody (Paybody, Pabody, Pabodie) Genealogy, p. 41, lists her last, i.e, after Oliver b. 1775, but that is thought to only signify that they have no idea. Even without her, the children spread over 20 years, from Mehitable in 1755 to Oliver in 1775, so it seems more likely she fits in the gap between 1771-1775. But her birth could conceivably be almost any time in the 1770's. [Addendum: since the above was posted, work was done on Oliver, and the 1775 date assigned to him by the Peabody Genealogy may be wrong. This slightly squeezes the interval where Lydia was being placed. Whether it is now more likely she was born after Oliver is unknown. We have no real information to work with.]
