The obituary of Lyda Pemberton Flanagan, as it appeared in the Unionville Republican, Wednesday Sept. 7, 1932:

Lyda Pemberton Flanagan, nee Hall, the beloved wife and mother of Dana and Junior Flanagan. Mrs. Flanagan was born in Lewistown, Mo., Feb. 1, 1875. On June 8, 1910, she was united in marriage to Dana Flanagan at Lewistown. After having lived at Exline, Iowa, for one year Mr. and Mrs. Flanagan made their home in Unionville, a home that through the years has been blest with love and affection.

Mrs. Flanagan for a number of years was a clerk in the Farmers Store where she made many friends. All who knew her, found her couretous, kind and friendly. Her neighbors and friends loved her and she was highly esteemed and respected by the people of Unionville.

Those surviving are her husband and son and Miss Virginia Hall, Mrs. W. H. LaRue, Robert Hall and James (?) Hall, all living at Lewistown, Mo., Mrs. May Ammerman of Colorado Springs; Mrs. B.A. Roberts of Monticello, Mo., and John D. Hall of De Lano, California.

The funeral Services were held at the home on Sunday Morning at 10:30, Rev. R. Burns and Rev. G. J. Hunsinger in charge. Interment was made at Lewistown, Mo.
