Facts and Events
Lucy Miller did not have good luck. She married her first husband at the age of 19 and was a widow at 21. With her second husband she had 5 children, all of whom died young except son Clark, who was imprisoned by the British in Quebec for 4 years but was released at the end of the war. Her second husband, David Stow, was also captured by the British, but he died in Quebec a few months later. She may have married a third time. Connecticut records show a Lucy Stow marrying David Clark on 14 October 1797 in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut. References
